There are 2 ‘actors’ in the consultation the doctor and the patient. The consultation is action taking place in a space that is a stage, surrounded by icons and where both actors have a specific script. The sand timer reminds us that the whole ‘act’ in this theatre will only last ten to twenty minutes in most cases.
